As you are no doubt aware by now, a controversy has stricken The Den. Dun dun dun! Mr. Daniel Chimes, a.k.a. Dan of The Good News has placed a small wager with one, Mr. Brandon Berman, concerning said controversy. The issue is a high school girls basketball game in which one team won by 100 points. In case you missed the podcast, (which is still available for your listening pleasure, link available below) Daniel believes that winning a game by that many points at the high school level is not okay. Brandon, on the other hand, believes that a 100 point margin of victory is not a problem. However, Daniel and Brandon are but a fraction of a fraction of the worlds population. As such, we are looking for your opinions on the matter. In fact, a small wager has been placed on the matter.
In essence, you are free to post your comments, which should clearly show who's opinion you agree with. The votes will be tallied, and the loser will be forced to walk around school with their clothes on backwards carrying a small orange bovine while the other gloats and revels in the delight of victory. Let us know who you think is right!
I voted for Daniel but like Brandon's logic more.
ReplyDeleteI can see what Daniel's saying, but that's like the parents who have their kids play softball games that aren't scored. Life is about succeeding or not, and without getting crazy or mean to people, competition can be a good thing. As adults there's competition in everything, so it's something everyone needs to learn. Maybe when the team was that high up in points and the game was secure, the winning team could've let some of their backup or normally benched players have a chance to play?
ReplyDeleteI think the debate was about as close as the basketball game. Daniel should have stopped talking halfway through the podcast by his own logic. I look forward to seeing Brandon walk the halls.
ReplyDeletePriscillac - Just wanted to make sure that I understand that you are voting for Brandon.
ReplyDeleteMike - Are you saying it is a tie?
ReplyDeleteMuch as I'd like to see Daniel dress backwards, I agree with him.
